Anxiety, depression, blood pressure, insomnia and stress respond positively to a therapeutic yoga practice. All poses are supported for comfort and ease. Breathing instruction with guided relaxation help quiet the mind.

Yoga for Scoliosis

Instructor: Roberta Dell Anno E-RYT 200

The practice of yoga can help bring awareness to a spinal curvature and may relieve pain as well as slow the progression of scoliosis. This workshop will focus on using yoga postures to lengthen the spine, stretch muscles that have become tight and strengthen muscles that have become weak. Addditional focus will be on derotating the spine and ribs creating more balance in the body.
