Kristin’s practice has been influenced by Ashtanga’s emphasis on connecting breath with movement and Iyengar’s emphasis on proper alignment. In her teaching, she combines these two core components with an equal interest in graceful transitions and honoring where one is in his/her own practice.

"Yoga improves mental focus by the practice of meditation in movement, nurtures and strengthens the body though the correct practice of asanas and improves the perception of oneself in relationship to other beings. By developing a strong and still spirit with a unique and wise intuition you will connect to your internal self in a profound and meaningful way. Yoga demonstrates connection in a very organic and practical way, it is not complicated but simply rich with nourishment for the soul." M. O.
As her practice deepened, she fell in love with the extraordinary physical as well as mental benefits that yoga provides. Working on a daily basis with individuals who visibly displayed the toll that working in a fast paced environment can take, Meghan felt a strong desire to share the fruits that the practice of yoga offers. It was then that she decided to leave her career and devote herself to practicing, studying and ultimately teaching yoga.
Meghan has dedicated herself to Iyengar based yoga and places a strong emphasis on linking the breath with the movements of the body to calm the nervous system and center the mind. In addition to her yogic studies, Meghan has completed several meditation courses at the Cambridge Meditation Center.

Jerry Urban. Have you ever came into something that you knew would change your life forever? This was yoga for Jerry. But it was not an immediate change or something readily apparent, at first. It was a slow and steady progression through years of practicing and quitting and practicing some more, slowly gaining little awakenings, transitions and transformations, and on occasion, even recognizing them. Each time he went away from yoga, there was always something bringing him back, usually a girlfriend. And then one day, it just stayed with him. And he's been thankful ever since. Though his primary influence is Shiva Rea, it would be hard to exclude any instructor that he's ever practiced with or any number of styles of yoga that he's touched upon. Inspiration comes in many different forms and occasionally it requires a change or shift to find where it's hiding. Each teacher sharing their inspirations and practice provides a new and different avenue of thought or perhaps, a new path to follow. So come and do a little digging with Jerry, you might like what you find.

Our study of yoga postures, or asana, is a fantastic practice benefiting the mind, body and spirit. In class we tone, stretch and detoxify the body. We create body awareness, and improve balance and focus. We also develop peace, relaxation and stillness that carry over into every aspect of our lives.
Taisha has had the privilege of studying with many fantastic teachers from a variety of different styles in the Midwest, California and now here in New England. She is a Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) through the Yoga Alliance whose own studies continue. Her classes blend the precise teachings of Iyengar yoga with the flowing vinyasa style that can create the feeling of a moving meditation. A mother of three young children who juggles many life and physical challenges, she relates well to others dealing with such hurdles and helps them to embrace their own unique path.
Karen's illuminating classes provide you in-depth, technical cues on how to fully experience the asanas, while keeping your mind present as she describes the eight limbs of yoga and decodes obscure Sanskrit terminology. Towards the end you will be busy floating off to some other time and space, at which point she brings you back with her tiny bells to close out the class. Invigorating, mindful and relaxing.
